Digital Doodles Tuesday & Giveaway

Today is a very special day! Not only is it a new release day here at Digital Doodles, but it's my darling husband's birthday! Happy Birthday Dan!

I'm not the best at creating masculine cards so I thought I'd try a little harder this year. I perused blogland for a little manly inspiration and came up with this card. I like the way it turned out and I love that I used my patterned paper scraps! My hubby loves maps so this old paper is perfect!

Now onto the new Digital Doodles release! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here with this new 'Night Before Christmas' stamp set!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care....you know the words! We've been uttering these phrases since childhood. What fabulous memories they invoke! And here is what the the design team and I came up with this week.

Give-A-Way!

I'm so glad you stopped by today because I have such a fun little project to share with you! And it's so easy our husbands could do it! No offense guys! My husband is a lot of things, but crafter is not one of them!

This is an adorable set of note cards I made from a brand new digital kit at Two Peas in a Bucket . Wilna Furstenberg is the designer and her kit is called 'HeArt Mini Album Kit - Fly' . This kit was designed to create a mini album in a snap, which I plan to do, but the minute I saw the kit I thought it would also make an adorable note card set!

These photos show each of the notes up close. To read the quotes, click on the photo for an enlarged copy. Wilna is so incredibly talented; these whimsical birds are her own drawings! Amazing!

Supplies

Card Stock:  Neenah Paper
Digital Kit:  HeArt Mini Album Kit - Fly
Corner Rounder Punch:  Ek Success
Adhesive:  Scrappy Glue
A2 Envelopes

All you need to make this set of cards is four sheets of white 8 1/2" by 11" card stock. Cut each piece in half and then fold them in half. Print Wilna's kit. There's no need to resize anything; these birds are in a PDF format. I cut my birds out in 3 1/2" squares. I rounded the corners of each design before I glued them to my card stock base. Then I matched some colorful A2 size envelopes to each and wrapped a white satin ribbon bow around the set for a lovely presentation.

Would you like this set....already made? Leave a comment by Thursday, March 11th 10:00 p.m. eastern time and I will choose a random winner. That's it! Oh, and if you want to make sure you don't miss out on future projects and give-a-ways, sign up to follow my blog! I think I just might have another fun give-a-way over the weekend! How about one of my new digital stamps that will debut on Two Peas in a Bucket on Tuesday, March 16th? Come see me Friday for the details. Have a super day!
