My Noteworthy card creation features this adorable vintage phone stamp with matching telephone cord patterned paper. Too fun aren't they? I stamped my little phone in red since I've always wanted to find a red one at an antique store.

You're Out of This World

Hi!

How's your weekend going so far? Hope it's been a good one. Yesterday I went to our local flea market and it turned out to be much more than a flea market! There was a little fair going on, a farmer's market and an expo. I don't even know the half of it, except that it was incredibly busy! And people were not in a good mood in the parking lot! lol!

Well, I really enjoyed my flea market treasure hunt and found a really cool little 1940 Kenmore blender. The motor of this little gadget is housed in the lid and you attach it to a Glassbake container and plug it it. No switches, no speeds, just plug it in and it starts whirling away! It's funny that it only holds three cups! Great little treasure! I'll be adding it to my vintage shop on Etsy this week if you're interested in seeing what it looks like.

Anyway, I have a card share for you today. I always get a little giddy when I create a masculine card that's half way decent looking since I don't do very many of them. Ask my hubby, he gets cards with flowers bows and ruffles all the time!

This is a hybrid card I put together with a new digital kit from Two Peas in a Bucket called 'Discovery'

by Polka Dot Pixels.

This awesome background patterned paper and map accent are just a sampling of the Discovery kit. I inked the edges of both to get the distressed look.

A little hand stitching, a sentiment, a Making Memories metal embellishment and the jute and seam binding were added. That's it! Easy!

This morning I'm working on a scrapbook page. An everyday type of page. It's fun playing...so relaxing. I can't wait to share it with you. Hope you have a lovely Sunday! Kathy
