Happy Mail

It's always awesome to get something in the mail besides junk and bills, right? Yesterday I received the Summer 2014 CardMaker issue with my Mr. & Mrs. card published in it. And the 3-D style pop-up cards in this magazine are amazing! 

I created my card with Bella Blvd's beautiful Love and Marriage collection that just so happens to be 41% off at Amazon today! Can't keep a sale like that secret, can I? ;)

I also used the Heart Stax die set from My Favorite Things and tossed in some Sprinkles from Doodlebug for good measure!

Top of the week to you! I'm glad you're here because I have an amazing new Top Dog Dies set to share with you called Sew Much Fun Die Set that includes nine sewing themed dies that are sew cute!

For this 'hello' card, I used six of the dies, one of which is my absolute favorite...the scissors! It's a two piece set that you assemble with a brad or tiny eyelet as I did here. How fantastic is that?!?!

I love the embossed detailing on the buttons and the thimble! Makes them look so realistic! 

This next card included the dress-form die that I cut twice to create a 'dress' for the form.

The little buttons make perfect 'o's, don't they?  What do you think of this set? I think I'll be using it sew much! ;) 

By the way, the pretty papers I used for these projects are from Bella Blvd. The first card features paper from the Love and Marriage collection and the floral paper used on the second card is from Snapshots.

T.G.I.F!

I have two cards to share with you all this fine Friday. Both from Bella Blvd. collections, one for birthday and the other for love. 

When I create a card design that I particularly like, I sometimes re-create it at a later date using a different theme. Last year I made the Thanksgiving card below and thought it would also make a festive birthday greeting using Birthday Girl. What do you think?

My next card was created with Bella Blvd's Love and Marriage line. I think any day is the perfect time to express your love for someone special. :) 

One of my favorite Bella Blvd. accents are the Crochet Hearts as I've used here. They come in ten gorgeous colors and add fabulous texture to projects!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm off to the grocery store this morning, but I have a play date scheduled in my craft room this afternoon. I'm looking forward to an iced latte and playing with paper and glue!

Cards on Thursday

I can't believe I forgot my Bella Blvd. Cards on Thursday post! What?!?! I live for this kind of crafty stuff! ;) 

So, without further ado...I created this patriotic Peace. Love. Freedom card with the All American collection and some lovely red, stitched edged ribbon.

My second card is a colorful and fun mix of the Love and Marriage line with crochet accents. Ooh la la, I love the texture!

Will you be spending a bit of time crafting this weekend? I'm not sure if I'll be. We have a birthday party to attend on Saturday and I have some plants to pot and house cleaning to do. We'll see.

Did you see all the wedding scrapbook pages on Bella Blvd's blog this week? We're celebrating Stephanie Hunt's  upcoming wedding this weekend with pages of our own weddings using the beautiful Love and Marriage collection. 

This is Dan and I 21 years ago. It's hard to believe that so many years have gone by! We've had so many great times together, ups and downs, a child, and look forward to many more memorable years! I wish the same for Stephanie and Steven!
