I Love You

Hi! Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day! My favorite mother to celebrate with is Mother Nature so my boys and I went for a hike at Durrant Park and lake on Saturday. It was a glorious day and memorable time with a wonderfully delicious and healthy picnic lunch!

Also, in honor of Mother's Day and Mother Nature, I created this card with lots of beautiful leaves and flowers from Fun Stampers Journey Lead Me stamp set.

To add color, I used one of the Brush Strokes stamps and five of FSJ's vibrant stamp colors.

So that I didn't cover up any of these beautiful stamped images, I used a tiny sentiment from the Text Happy set along with the Tag This tiny tag to add my greeting.

Hope you enjoy this card and I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day!

Love You

I'm back! Feels so good to be home again! And my oh my there's a lot of exciting things happening at the Journey Station as we've been preparing for the 2016-2017 catalog release and next month's convention!!! Wish I could share, but it's all top secret!!! Let's just say that you're going to be AMAZED!!!

Well now that I'm back, I had to create a quick card to share with you today using our Love Is punch to make a pretty layered flower.

All the hearts were folded in half and attached to the card base by applying a bit of Journey Craft Glue on the underside of each fold.

A little Splash, Silk, Thread and Journey Sequins were used for accenting. Hope you like and can play with your FSJ punches real soon!

Love You

Hey Scraptastic Club fans! What do you think of the new kits coming out for March? I'm stalking my mailman anxious to get mine! But before I move on to another kit I thought I'd share another card I created with this month's It Takes Two kit.

One of my add-on favorites this month are the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss layered stickers. I love the dimension of them and the gold glitter accenting!

I also added a bit of ruffled crape paper from my stash. Once upon a time I purchased that on Etsy and was saving it because it's too cool too use! lol Gotta stop doing that so I've been on a mission to dig up old items and use them!

A New Trend

Hello!

Hopefully your day has started on the right foot. We've made it to the middle of the week and the weekend is within reach. Woot!

I have a crafty share for you today. An idea that came to me after I created the card I posted yesterday, the one with a row of stitched hearts? It seems I've started a new trend of adding hearts to everything! We'll see if they appear on the next project.

I used some more of the This & That collection from Echo Park.

The heart die I used is from My Favorite Things. I really like the shape of this heart. I had to trace and hand cut the negative hearts since the thin metal die is a cluster of three hearts.

I also used a couple of other dies from Papertrey Ink. The tiny tags die was used to make this itsy bitsy heart for the sentiment and a die to make the flag.

The rub on sentiment is from Pebbles, the scalloped border pieces were made with a Fiskars punch and that cute little heart stick pin is old Fancy Pants.

So yesterday I mentioned that I was going to make some Macaroni and Cheese Soup with Broccoli for lunch. Oh yum! It wasn't from Weight Watchers after all, it was from Skinny Taste. I'm looking forward to having more today for lunch!

Later yesterday afternoon I baked a batch of Glazed Lemon Cookies. A little piece of heaven on earth I tell ya! They were slightly crunchy on the outside, so soft on the inside and full of delicious sweet tart lemony flavor! These lovely cookies are from Two Peas & Their Pod, not to be confused with Two Peas in a Bucket! Boy am I funny? Not really, but I try! ;)

Lastly, if that we're enough time spent in the kitchen, I whipped up another dish for dinner called Chicken and Roasted Vegetable Rice from Better Homes & Gardens. This meal was just okay...nothing to write home about. Not bad, but not too exciting or flavorful. And with all the recipes I have pinned on Pinterest, I don't need to make this again.

Have a great Wednesday!

Doodle Card Sketch

Hi!

How about a little break from all the Bella Blvd. new product reveals? Only a short break since there's so much more to show you! :) And I know your going to love this! Doodlebug's fabulous Sweet Cakes line for Valentine's Day Projects is a must have! Last week I posted a scrapbook page created with this collection and today I have a card!

I want to eat that cupcake!

It's topped with yummy gems and a sugar coated heart!

Have you used these Doodles sentiment stickers? They're easy, fun and come in lots of phrases! I'm addicted! ;)

To add a bit more spice to my cupcake card I made some faux ribbon and topped it with a yummy red Boutique Button.

I tell you, Doodlebug makes it a cinch to create beautiful projects! And they also have a Doodle card sketch for you to play along with here

Thanks for dropping by and letting me share my card with you!

Kathy:)
