Ooh la la, Scraptastic Club has been including some amazing acrylic accents in there kits over the past couple months. The 'forever' sentiment is one of them. Isn't it awesome! I also used a few wood accents from the Heart it Races kit. Love the texture wood brings to my projects!

For the Love of Tags

Hello, hello! Today Madeline Fox and I are offering you a challenge on the Scraptastic Club blog to create a project using tags. Don't you just love tags...the many sizes and shapes and ways you can use them for paper crafting? For my project I made a card using three tags in varying sizes layered and as frames for my accents.

This morning was one of those days when I got up to my office and just wanted to play with paper and accents before I did anything else. At hand was the colorful and fun new kit from Scraptastic Club, Heart it Races. I love the freedom of sitting down with no particular assignment or project in mind and either reaching for my scraps bucket or current kit/collection and just having fun with it.

Yummy color combination, don't you think? And I love the mix of patterns...polka dots, stripes and flowers! Heart it Races is the perfect name for this kit! 

It's Scraptastic!

Hip hip hooray, it's my first Scraptastic post day! As soon as I received the Heart it Races kit, I had to pour over every bit and piece and I picked this pretty kitty accent and yummy 'Harvest' card to create my first two cards with.

I love kitty cats! I have three that roam our home so it's no surprise I was drawn to this accent!

I also zeroed in on the 'Harvest' card that reminds me of the things I love about fall...visiting the pumpkin patch and eating fresh roasted corn on the cob at the county fair. And pumpkin pie! Gotta have pumpkin pie!

One of my favorite accents in the kit is these teeny tiny cork and wood stars! I could use those again and again and again! :)

Great News!

I've been keeping a little secret that I'm finally allowed to share with you! :) I've been asked to join the talented design team of Scraptastic Club as a card designer! I adore their monthly kits and just received October's, Heart it Races kit along with the add-ons and stamps! I've been pouring over all these new goodies and my mind is racing with ideas! 

Aren't these supplies to die for? There are also some new digital cuts that I'll be mixing in. My first project share is scheduled on the Scraptastc blog in just two short weeks! I'm super excited a I'm looking forward to working with the kit, the team and showing you what I come up with!
