Nature Inspired

Hello! I have a nature inspired card to share with you today created with one of the new foliage dies from Fun Stampers Journey. 

Inspiration comes from countless places and for me, nature is the most awe inspiring! 

The above photo was taken from one of my studio windows. Every day when I look outside any one of the windows at our house I see tress! Lots of them with branches hanging in all directions with so many leaf shapes in an array of greens. It's so lovely and I feel so fortunate to call this place home. 

To recreate this scene I used Journey Rectangles for my window frame and the Summer Branch die for the foliage. 

Now I can share this splendid view of nature with a friend!

Hey peeps! I hope you're enjoying spring and looking forward to vacations and beach trips coming up this summer! 

Today I have a quick summery card to share with you that I created with the Fun Stampers Journey new Summer Fun stamp set. 

I love the beach ball and pinwheel images in this set...perfect for so many crafty projects! For this card I kept things clean and simple by coloring in the two images, layering them on a bright white cloud and sponging on a little Lovely blue on the card base to make the cloud pop. Final steps include the sentiment, a little Thread and a strip of patterned paper down the side and ta-da! 

Just thinking...I wonder if I could combine my love of the outdoors and crafting by turning my screened in patio into a temporary craft room during these beautiful spring days? Imagine how lovely that would be!

Ah spring! What a gorgeous season it is! I've been taking my afternoon walks around the neighborhood lately to get some fresh air, vitamin D and enjoy the flowers, birds and bees.  

In honor of those fuzzy, buzzing little critters I created this card using Fun Stampers Journey Summer Garden stamp set. 

This was quick and easy project to create...and fun! 

Supplies include floral paper from the Spring Parade pack and Watermelon Fusion Satin Ribbon; new from the summer catalog. I also added a few springs of greenery using the Border Details die set and put a little shine on the bees' wings with Journey Glaze.

Hello! I have a colorful card share to brighten your day using a new patterned from the Fun Filled Prints pack by Fun Stampers Journey. 

Don't you love these colorful flowers? Aren't they perfectly bright and beautiful for summertime projects? 

Here I made a birthday card in the shape of a star using the Star-Dom die set. I simply cut one star using patterned paper and another using Whip Cream card stock. Then I created a score line on the star's tip and glued them together as you can see in the photo above. 

I like! How about you? Works for many different occasions. Gotta love that!

Hey crafty peeps! I have a simple card to share with you today that I created with the Fun Stampers Journey Rose Garden stamp. The other day when I was creating some projects for next spring, I happened across this gorgeous ATC sized stamp that I hadn't used yet. I suppose you could say it was calling to me to ink it up! Wink.

I used re-inkers to color the flowers starting with a very pale shade of Bubble Gum, and then adding a little more to the blender solution until I got the darker center. 

For the sentiment I stamped it with Whip Cream ink. I love the look of white stamped on colored card stock! 

A little ribbon, twine and a sprinkling of pearls were used to accent the card. 

Like? I'm pretty proud of myself for creating a simpler card. Simple is always more challenging for this girl who loves layers, dimension and accents galore!

Hey hey hey, it's another Monday! How about starting the week with an adorable Reverse Confetti Puppy Love card? Woof! He's an arf-ully cute isn't he?

This card was quick to make using the new Quick Card Panels. I created a little heart shaped window for puppy to peek out with the heart die included in the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts set. 

In my stash I just so happened to have some of these bone shaped buttons and the bow was from the chocolate candy hearts I gave Christopher for Valentine's Day. Love to re-purpose things whenever I can.
