Bella Blvd. & The Twinery Team-Up Week

It's Team-Up week with Bella Blvd. and The Twinery! A match made in heaven, don't you think? Beautiful shades of baker's twine mixed with Bella Blvd's whimsical patterned papers and accents! I'm telling you, I had a great time playing!

On this page of  Christopher showing off  his first picked strawberry of the season, I used twine in seven different places. Can you spot them all?

Some of the ways I used twine on my page are commonly done, like threading it through a button...

...using it for a banner or...

...wrapping this journaling spot.

To use twine in a different way, I embellished several of the chipboard accents with it. Here's a close up shot of a chipboard cloud with twine wrapped around the edges.

It's really easy to create this look. All you need is some craft glue, a chipboard accent and twine.

Start by adding just a dab of glue in one the crevices of the cloud and adhere the end piece of your twine. Now squeeze a thin line of craft glue along one 'bubble' of your cloud and gently wrap the twine around it. I do just one section at a time giving it a minute to dry. Quick-Dry Adhesive is perfect for this kind of project because it dries pretty fast and the nozzle is small enough to apply a thin strip of glue. Use your finger nail to push the twine in each of the cloud's crevices. Repeat until you have the entire piece wrapped.

For the sun, I used my Quick Dry Adhesive nozzle to 'draw' a thin line of glue in a circle. Where the ends of my twine meet, I used a button to hide the seam.

Most of the Bella Blvd. goodies I used for my page are from the Sunshine & Happiness collection. I also used a bunch of their brand new embellishments, Crochet Flowers, Buttons, Flags and Designer Tape.

I hope you enjoyed my project and that I showed you many ways to include lots of twine on your pages!

Well, I'm off to see what everyone else has created! Care to join me?

Kathy :)
