Country Drive

Hello!

Happy Monday! Do I hear a bit of growling? Okay, I know Monday isn't the best day of the week. But with a good dose of caffeine, we can face it, right? And how about a dose of crafty inspiration while we're at it!

Last week I was in the mood for color and sunshine so I pulled out my stash of Country Drive papers by Echo Park. Oh how I love this collection! I've made some pages, lots of cards and I'm still having fun with it!

Since Valentine's day is coming up, I created a mushy, lovey dovey card. Those two love birds helped me pull it off!

Aren't they tweet?

I think I mentioned before that I like buttons! ;) These remind me of candy! Like Sweet Tarts or Smarties. I used lots of the patterned papers in this line for my background, the letter 'u' is from Jillibean soup. No, I don't think they come in yellow. I painted a white  'u' yellow. And I made a big mess of it! And after cleaning up said mess, I realized I could have used my Copics! Duh!

I'm beginning to notice a trend around here! Another mushy lovey card! Looking at this card I can imagine a picnic in the park on a beautiful afternoon with my hubs...it would be so lovely!

All materials used are Echo Park's Country Drive with some Doodlebug rhinestones and a sentiment sticker thrown in for good measure.

Aren't these flowers beautiful ! I gave them some adhesive foam tape underneath and then another small piece to make a single flower stand out on top. I'm a huge fan of adhesive tape! I like dimension!

I hope I made your visit worth while! I know how busy all of you are! And whatever it is you are doing today, I hope it's a good day for you!
