Hello!
Yesterday morning I was perusing blogs that I follow and got all excited to play in my craft room after visiting my friend Amy Heller's blog! Her 'Your Happiness is Oh So Sweet' scrapbook page is really amazing! I love the design, colors, use of scraps and stitching! A work of art!
This card is what I was inspired to create.
All the patterned papers I used came out of my scraps bin which include some digital designs, Little Yellow Bicycle and October Afternoon.
I have several sets of these fabulous vintage inspired cards from October Afternoon that I never seem to get around to so I used this one as inspiration for picking out my papers.
As you can see I'm a die cut girl! I used some Spellbinders dies to create the little frame around the nest and an old 2x2 Quckutz die for the sentiment tag. Love that little tiny tag! Oh, the sentiment is a Papertrey Ink stamp from their 'Tiny Tags' set.
I just recently bought this rolled roses die from My Favorite Things. I LOVE the beautiful flowers it makes with felt! I can tell this little die is going to get a ton of use!
There you have it...inspiration a la Amy! Thanks Amy! It sure was fun playing! Hope you all get a chance to play too! :) Kathy
Oh, Kathy, this is perfect - love the bird/nest theme, and the little bit of text surrounding the nest! Absolutely precious!
