Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Hi!

What a wonderful thing...National Scrapbook Day! A day to play with paper and glue and release some of our creative energy! Love! Will you be doing a bit of scrapbooking? I'm working on finishing up a page right now. Oh and it's mother's day weekend too...double goodness! Hope yours is fabulous!

I have a yummy card share this morning.

This sweetie is a hybrid card made with the new 'Little Summer Cakes'

by Holly Brooke Jones of Two Peas in a Bucket.

Don't these little cakes look scrumptious? I love 'em, except that they make me crave sweets! Why can't cake be one of the four food groups? Why can't the FDA make cake a nine servring per day requirement? Don't you think we would all be a little more cheerful? A little sweeter? ;)

This little yellow butterfly is also part of the kit. I used some of my newly discovered crepe paper trim again to make a bow...I found it on Etsy.

I used some Spellbinders

dies for the cake frame and to shape the polka dot background paper, a Quickutz die for the tiny tag, A corner rounder punch, a gray Copic

maker for the edges of my paper and a few buttons from my stash.

I hope your weekend is the best! :) kathy
