Hello! Oh how wonderful it is that spring is back! That's why I've been missing for a number of days! I've been soaking it all in...the sun, the blooming flowers, the singing birds and a little gardening. I love it all!
I've got a new card to share. It's a first for me using a Heather Ellis image. I love her work and now I have a few of her digital images! They were less than $1 each and no shipping since they are sent digitally. I thought I'd start with a teacher card because the school year is quickly coming to an end and it will be teacher appreciation week before I know it!
I used 'Schoolhouse'patterned papers by October Afternoon for this card. The punched edge was done with a EK Success border punch, the jute from Papertrey Ink and the 'Little Whimsies' from Webster's Pages.
I'm getting a wee bit better with my Copic work. If I'd use them more I bet I would make bigger strides! Do you know you can buy Copic markers at Dick Blick Arts Supplies for under $3.21 each? Awesome deal!
A little hand stitching and inking finishes this card.
Well, I hope spring has been visiting you! And I hope you have been able to get out and enjoy it! Do you garden? Will you be planting any vegetables or flowers? I'm considering a veg garden...wish there were more time in a day for all the things I'd like to do! Well, enjoy! :) Kathy
