Autumn Crafts & Vintage Treasures

Wow, it's Thursday already! Where has the week gone? Oh yes, Monday was a holiday! That really makes the week fly by doesn't it?

I have two scrapbook pages to share with you today about a couple of subjects I adore, autumn crafts and vintage treasures! I don't know about you, but when September rolls around my crafting goes into full drive. I love to make fall home decor pieces for the home, as gifts and to sell in my Etsy shop!

Photographed on this page are just a few of the many crafty things I made last fall. Look at all the leaves and rich fall colors. This page will be fun to display in one of my tabletop easils during the season!

Do you see the pretty stitched leaves on this section of the page? Those were created with a fabulous new digital kit called 'Messy Stitches V.1' from Kerry Stewart of Two Peas in a Bucket. I adore this kit with its variety of leaf patterns that also includes words! I hope Kerry makes another few volumes of these cool stitchy designs!

Now for the antiques portion of the post...I have always enjoyed antiques, but I didn't have the money in past years nor did I know anything about them or their value and I didn't know how to decorate with them so I always passed them by. Not any more! With the internet at my finger tips I've been able to learn a lot and then there's one of my favorite blogs, Daisy's Cottage, that always shows pictures of lovely vintage treasures. I love the way Daisy arranges her books and favorite little nick knacks.

Oh, I have to mention another thing about this page. Do you see the little vintage post cards tucked into the side of my photo? I used those for my journaling, dowloaded from a favorite site of mine called The Graphics Fairy. There are oodles of fabulous vintage downloads....free!

The photo of me on this page is from a trip my husband and I took over the summer to Selma. There are a lot of antique shops there! The small pictures are some treasures I recently purchased during an outing with my best gal pal. Oh, I can't wait to go again! :)

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed my post and pages. Hurry back...I have a special post lined up for you tomorrow! :)
