A Brand New Week!

Last week was a bit of a crazy week for me ending with a dear friend calling to tell me she was in the hospital due to an allergic reaction! And can you believe this; her allergic reaction was from an allergy shot! Kind of ironic, don't you think?!? Well, I'm happy to report she's doing much better and it's a new week! A clean slate that I intend to fill and enjoy to the fullest! :)

Along with a new week comes a new sketch from Laura Davis at 2 Sketches 4 You!

This is a great sketch, don't you think?!? It's full of possibility and a perfect design to showcase a rubber stamp design from our sponsor of the week, The Cutting Cafe. Here's the card I made using the 'Fun with Numbers, Days and Months' set.

This is such a great stamp to use for a birthday card! Before this gets mailed to someone for their big day, a highlighter can be used to mark their birth date! Cool idea!

This next project I have for you is a hybrid card.

To make this card I used a digital kit called 'Write it Down - Cute Circles'  by Shimelle Laine of Two Peas in a Bucket. Not only are these circles perfect journaling spots for scrapbook pages, but they made cute embellishments for my card!

I have a second hybrid card to show you.

This birthday card is made with a kit from a brand new digital designer at Two Peas in a Bucket who is designing digital cuts you can use with your Cricut or Silhouette! The banner shaped card is from 'Banner Die Cuts' by Laina Lamb. Obviously you can make some adorable banners with this kit, but I also wanted to show that you can do other things like cards and invitations.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and feel inspired to do some crafting this week. I'll be back on Wednesday with some more crafty shares.

  9. Oh goodness, your first card is so soft and pretty! I really enjoyed the others too, but the first is my favorite. Can I be a bit jealous of you that you have the opportunity to design digitally for 2 Peas in a Bucket?!
