It's Monday, A Fun Day!

I know Mondays are not everyone's favorite. Mine either. But I try to make the best of them. And since 2 Sketches 4 You posts their new sketches on Mondays, it makes this first day of the week a little bit brighter!

Here's Kazan's sketch for the week with my card above it! You probably recognize the stamp I used; it's a Just Rite Stampers design, this week's sponsor. Everyone loves these Just Rite stamps so I know this will be a busy week at 2S4Y and I look forward to seeing everyone's creations!

I have another card to share with you this morning.

This card is a hybrid, made with an adorable new digital kit at Two Peas in a Bucket. It's called 'Flower Showers Stickers' from Holly Brooke Jones. The flower and butterfly on my card are from the kit. You should see the other designs it has. Very cute and perfect for spring and summer!

Tomorrow is an exciting day since another new Digital Doodles stamp will be released. So, I hope to see you back tomorrow to see all the amazing projects the Digital Doodles Design Team came up with. I have a feeling this stamp is going to be a favorite! :)

$20 Winner!

TGIF! Another weekend is coming up! I love weekends! We don't have to have big plans; I just love spending time with my husband and son! :) Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I have a card to share with you today. It's one that I made with my latest Digital Doodles stamp 'Pretty Packages' that went on sale this week at Two Peas in a Bucket.

Most of the patterned paper used for this card is from 'Letterbox' by American Crafts. They are a favorite of mine right now! I Love the soft colors and fun designs that make them perfect for the paper piecing I did on this card.

Now for our $20 winner....I have drawn a name from the list of Digital Doodles Club members this morning and our lucky winner is Sylvia Nelson! Congratulations Sylvia! I'll e-mail you shortly to get your mailing address. For those of you who would like to join the Digital Doodles Club and earn fun prizes like $20, scrapbook products or an exclusive Digital Doodles stamp, click on this Digital Doodles Club button to find out how you can join. It's easy and free! I finished the free Digital Doodles design yesterday! Here's a sneak peek!

This stamp will be free to all Digital Doodles Club members starting April 1st! And, there will be a contest announced that day as well.

One last thing I'd like to share with you is part of this e-mail from Two Peas in a Bucket.

It lists my Digital Doodles 'Sweet Cake' as a top selling kit of the week at Two Peas in a Bucket! I'm so excited that my first stamp is getting such a good response! :)

That's a wrap for today. I wish you all a great weekend. Hope the weather is nice where you are and that you have some fun with your family and squeeze in a bit of crafting! :)

A Beautiful Day

And I'm going to be as happy as a bird with a french fry! :) The caffeine hasn't kicked in yet so I'm feeling a bit tired at the moment, but I'm determined to make it a great day, get a lot done and enjoy this fabulous spring weather we're having! How about you? What's on your agenda for this lovely Thursday?

How about a crafty share? Here's a card I made from one of my favorite lines of paper right now.

The paper I used for this card is 'Letterbox' from American Crafts. The fabric covered Thickers alphabets and the tree stickers are also American crafts. All these items are available for sale at Two Peas in a Bucket.

I'm going to keep my post short today so I can go work on some other fun things including another Digital Doodles stamp. Thanks for stopping by! :)

$20 Digital Doodles Prize

Hope you all had a great weekend! It was a lovely first spring weekend here in North Carolina with temperatures in the 70s! And it was my birthday on Sunday. My son and husband made it a very special day! The first thing my son did when I got up was to hug me and wish me a Happy Birthday and then he handed me his red Legos because my favorite color is red and he said, "Here mommy, you can build anything you want with them." Later we went out to Red Robin for burgers and he let me have his last french fry because it was my birthday! Such sweet and precious gifts!

I did have some time this weekend to get crafty and I have some fun cards to share with you. All three are hybrid cards. This first one uses an incredibly adorable kit from Two Peas in a Bucket called, 'Rain Drops' by Jen Martakis.

She is so cute! I love this kit. I printed her and her little umbrella out and hand cut them. And I added little white buttons to her dress. I really like the way this card turned out...very sweet.

This next card is also made from a digital kit called 'Bee Happy : The Papers' by Betsy Tuma.

These papers are so colorful and fun! I enlarged the bee on one of the patterned papers so I could cut it out for my embellishment.

My third card is my 2 Sketches 4 You card! Here to make Mondays more fun, Kazan and Laura always have a great sketch to play along with. Laura designed this great sketch for us this week.

Here's my take on the sketch. Do you love this funny bunny? It's from our sponsor In Style Stamps.

I hope you have a little extra time this week to hop by 2 Sketches 4 You and see all the cards the design team made and the prize package from In Style Stamps. I look forward to seeing all the fun cards you all make this week!

Now, the moment you've been waiting for! ;) I mentioned something about a $20 prize!?!? This week one lucky Digital Doodles Club member is going to receive a $20 bill! :) I'm simply going to draw a name from the member list this Friday, March 26th and one of them will have an extra $20 to spend any way they want! If you are not a member yet, click on the Digital Doodles Club button at the top of my blog, just below the blog banner and find out how to join. It's free! :)

That's a wrap for my Monday post. I'm happy you could come by and see my projects. Tomorrow another Digital Doodles stamp goes on sale at Two Peas in a Bucket so I'll have a bunch of projects to share with you. Hope to see you then!

This card incorporates punches, hand stitching, silk ribbon and a beautiful vintage mother of pearl button. Thanks for the beautiful sketch design Sarah! And thank you to The Shabby Tea Room for the color inspirational photo!

Just One More Day!

That's right, the wait is almost over! Tomorrow my new Digital Doodles Stamps will go on sale at Two Peas in a Bucket and I couldn't be more excited! A lot of hard work and long hours have gone into this project! And tomorrow we all get to see them and some great projects that have been made with them.

The first order of business is to announce the winner of my first set of stamps......SHERYL K! Please send me you e-mail address and I will e-mail those stamps to you upon release tomorrow. Congratulations!

As for today, I have a couple fun crafty shares! It's time again for 2 Sketches 4 You to post a brand new sketch! Here's Kazan's design.

Isn't this sketch Awesome?!?! It was a lot of fun to work with too! Here's the card I made with Kazan's sketch.

The stamped images I used are so adorable! They are from our sponsor of the week, Starving Artistamps. I hope you can play along this week! And who knows, you could win some stamps!

My next project is a first for me. A 100 % digital page! I'm a traditional and hybrid scrapper, but I thought I'd give it a go. I'm pretty pleased with the results and I'm telling you, digital scrapping is so much easier and quicker than traditional or hybrid! I can see why people switch over. Maybe I'll make a digital page once in a while. ;)

So what do you think? Not bad for a first try! :) I must admit that the digital kit I used made it super easy. It's called 'Boundless' by Pamela Funk-Parr of Scrap Originals. You can purchase the kit at Two Peas in a Bucket. That's my two crafty shares for the day. I look forward to showing off all the new Digital Doodles stamps and projects with you tomorrow. Have a wonderful day!
