$20 Digital Doodles Prize

Hope you all had a great weekend! It was a lovely first spring weekend here in North Carolina with temperatures in the 70s! And it was my birthday on Sunday. My son and husband made it a very special day! The first thing my son did when I got up was to hug me and wish me a Happy Birthday and then he handed me his red Legos because my favorite color is red and he said, "Here mommy, you can build anything you want with them." Later we went out to Red Robin for burgers and he let me have his last french fry because it was my birthday! Such sweet and precious gifts!

I did have some time this weekend to get crafty and I have some fun cards to share with you. All three are hybrid cards. This first one uses an incredibly adorable kit from Two Peas in a Bucket called, 'Rain Drops' by Jen Martakis.

She is so cute! I love this kit. I printed her and her little umbrella out and hand cut them. And I added little white buttons to her dress. I really like the way this card turned out...very sweet.

This next card is also made from a digital kit called 'Bee Happy : The Papers' by Betsy Tuma.

These papers are so colorful and fun! I enlarged the bee on one of the patterned papers so I could cut it out for my embellishment.

My third card is my 2 Sketches 4 You card! Here to make Mondays more fun, Kazan and Laura always have a great sketch to play along with. Laura designed this great sketch for us this week.

Here's my take on the sketch. Do you love this funny bunny? It's from our sponsor In Style Stamps.

I hope you have a little extra time this week to hop by 2 Sketches 4 You and see all the cards the design team made and the prize package from In Style Stamps. I look forward to seeing all the fun cards you all make this week!

Now, the moment you've been waiting for! ;) I mentioned something about a $20 prize!?!? This week one lucky Digital Doodles Club member is going to receive a $20 bill! :) I'm simply going to draw a name from the member list this Friday, March 26th and one of them will have an extra $20 to spend any way they want! If you are not a member yet, click on the Digital Doodles Club button at the top of my blog, just below the blog banner and find out how to join. It's free! :)

That's a wrap for my Monday post. I'm happy you could come by and see my projects. Tomorrow another Digital Doodles stamp goes on sale at Two Peas in a Bucket so I'll have a bunch of projects to share with you. Hope to see you then!

  6. Happy Birthday to you, Kathy!!!
I love those kind of presents! My boys are 6 and 3 and know how much "project time" means to me, so they made hubs bring them to Michael's and they bought me some dp and Prima flowers and said I could have 10 minutes to free time to play, lol! Love that they have no clue to time ;)

Your cards are gorgeous! Amazing what you can do with digital now :)

    Happy Monday!
    hugs, margie
