Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's weekend. I'm popping in today to let you know I'm heading back to sunny Arizona tomorrow to do some creative work for Fun Stampers Journey which means things on the blog here will be pretty quiet over the next couple weeks.

However, I'll be sure to share some photos with you on Facebook and Instagram and give you a little peek at what we're doing...if I can. Wink.

I've been coloring! I had a little time to pull out Fun Stampers Journey's Fusion Blending solution and re-inkers the other day to make this Easter treat bag. 

This guy reminds me of Peter Rabbit! So adorable!

Everything is Better with Chocolate

Whether it's for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day or I just want to put a smile on someone's face, giving chocolate is one of my go-to gifts. I mean....who doesn't enjoy a little chocolate, right?

Whether it's a Hershey Bar or my favorite vegan chocolate, Endangered Species, you can dress a bar up in no time with a couple craft supplies you probably already have on hand. 

With Fun Stampers Journey's extensive color palette you're sure to have a ribbon color to match any occasion or chocolate wrapper. For my mint bars, the new Limeade Splash Satin Ribbon worked beautifully!

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you that I created with some left over die cut rings and circles I originally made for another project. 

Turns out I didn't need them after all, so I made this card instead! 

This style could be used for a number of different occasions like a sweet 16th birthday celebration. 

Valentine's Day is coming up this weekend... I could make a matching goody bag or box to go with. Oh the possibilities!

Beautiful Day

This is the kind of project I create when I've got spring fever...colorful and floral and happy! 

Soon. Spring comes next month! The days are getting a little longer. 

To make all these colorful blossoms, I used Fun Stampers Journey Spring Bloom Minis die. With a single cut you get 16 blooms! 

Each bloom was given a pearl center, petals were bent upwards and a dab of Journey Craft Glue was used to affix them to the card.

Wouldn't this make a lovely Easter or Mother's Day card?

Hi! I have a yummy little Easter goody bag to share with you today created with Fun Stampers Journey new Easter Wishes stamp set and Clear Bags. 

I love this bunny set! It's just too cute! Look at that rabbit and his egg shaped balloons! Next time I use this set I'll have to color the image in...it's calling out to be colored, isn't it? 

So...to create this little goody bag, fill some of the new Clear Bags with any treat you desire. Then use the Journey Rectangles Long set to make the tag. One of the rectangles in the set fit this bag beautifully. Then fold it in half and decorate. 

To assemble your bag, just fold the top over about 1" and staple it closed. 

Then add a strip of the White Liner tape to either side of the bag to adhere label. 

Too cute, too fun and super duper easy, don't you think?

Hop Hop Little Cutie

Hello! Today I have a bright and colorful Easter card to share with you that I made with more brand new goodies from Fun Stampers Journey' spring catalog. 

What do you think of the bright colors and pops of black. As of writing this post I'm not 100% sold. I tend to lean towards subtler colors. It was super fun to play, experiment and step outside my comfort zone, however. 

I am comfortable with layering die cuts and really enjoyed mixing and matching seven different die sets!

Wow, Valentine's Day is fast approaching! Do you have plans to do something special with your sweetie? Have you made any Valentine cards?

Spring Fever

Hello! This week we've had a couple unusually warm days where we could open up the windows, let a little fresh air in and hear the birds sing. Swoon! Reminds me of spring! 

And...it inspired me to get out the Artful Butterfly dies and new Fun Stampers Journey Spring Parade patterned paper pack to create a project with.

This is my favorite pattern in the pack. 

I created the butterflies with two layers of card stock and adhered them to the card with Journey Foam Squares to make them look like they're in flight.

Whip up sweet Valentine treats for your BFFs with these new Spring Treat Bags from Fun Stampers Journey.

Tucked inside are a couple small chocolate bars and a Starbuck's gift card. 

I layered the bag with one of the new Border Details die cuts, a Doily die cut and a trio of Heart-Felt die cuts. 

The sentiment is embossed and the accents include Linen Thread, sequins and a Jumbo Wooden Clothespin. 

Notice the bag remains open? I like create gift bags and boxes that can be easily reused making them more environmentally friendly.

Hello! I'm back this week with another project you can quickly whip up with the Border Details die set from Fun Stampers Journey. 

I've have these little glass votive candle holders for eons and thought I could dress them up a little with some paper lace. 

One die cut border fit each of these holders perfectly! 

Change up the color and you can use these candles for any occasion or holiday. 

These votive holders are commonly found at your local craft store.
