Puppy Love

I love dogs! They're just about the happiest critters on the planet and every time I see one they make me smile and feel happy inside. How about you...are you a dog lover? Would you enjoy a little Puppy Love today, Reverse Confetti style?

I colored this adorable little pooch gray to match these pretty patterned papers I had in my scrap bin. I also used a go-to Confetti Cut, the pocket page card in the Documented set. I use it over and over again because it's perfect for layering as I did on this card.

Woof!

Friday Sketch

Today's post is bittersweet as it's my last as a Bella Blvd. design team member. I've been a part of the Bella Blvd. family for 3 1/2 years now, since their first design team and will miss working with all the incredibly crafty peeps over there!

For my last card I used today's Friday Sketch, the colorful new Invisibles and Color Chaos Strandz papers to create this fun and funky design.

It's been a wonderful three years, Bella Blvd! Thanks for a wonderful design team experience!

Anna Griffin

Hello! Did you catch Anna Griffin on HSN's all day craft event on Tuesday? As always Anna introduced us crafty folks to some beautiful new tools and a stunning new card kit called Pretty Painted Flowers. I'd like to take a moment to share with you today some of the projects I contributed to the event and rave about how much fun these Anna items were to create with!

First up is my favorite new product the Butterfly Cut and Emboss set. I adore butterflies and went a little crazy with this scrapbook page.

I love the three different designs in the set...especially the profile one! And I love to layer them with two or more cuts.

For those of you who love foiled designs like I do there's the new Foil Stamped Card Layers. Just look at all the shimmer you get with these!

I also created a scrapbook page with the Foil Stamped Card Layers cutting the squares to 4" x 4" pieces and putting them together to make a quilted background.

Now for the projects created with the Pretty Painted Flowers Card Kit.  The boarders cards and dimensional flower stickers were all hand painted! Aren't they incredible?

The kit includes enough supplies to make 30 cards including all the flowers, card layers, insert sentiments, foil accents and more. I loved, loved, loved playing with this kit and can't wait to see what Anna has in store for us next time!

Hello Dears

I've got an sweet little deer card to share with you today that I created with Bella Blvd's new Campout collection.

One of my favorite papers in the line is the tree pattern. I love trees! Good thing too since I live in Wake Forest where the trees are about to grow their leaves back! Love, love, love springtime trees!

My next card, perfect for teacher or student, was made with the Star Student collection.

This line is so colorful and includes lots of cool school icons like apples, books, owls, alphabets and so much more! For scrapbooking school-year memories, this is a must have collection!

Good Day Sunshine

Hope you are having a sun-shiny day! If not perhaps a couple bright and happy card shares will help lift spirits? These were created with Scraptastic Club's Good Day Sunshine Kit.

I'm loving this pink, yellow, black and white color combo...how about you? Or how about this pink, white and black combo? So soft!

Have I mentioned how much I adore the kit add-on Pink Paisley Bella Rouge flowers? Swoon! I've used the entire package already!

Mini Easter Basket

A few months ago when I was at the craft store I found this little mini wooden basket. Too cute, isn't it? I knew it would make a cute little Easter decor piece or gift and Reverse Confetti's new Folded Tag is the perfect size for it. I dressed up the tag with one of the little birds from The Tweet Life set and topped that off with the Double Banner Garland.

You can fill your little basket with all sorts of goodies from sweets to a gift card or a little bird nesting inside. Oh...what about using these for place tags at your Easter dinner table? I just might have to go get some more!

Good Day Sunshine

It's spring! My favorite season of the year and to kick it off I have a couple Scraptastic Club cards to share with you today over on their blog created with the Good Day Sunshine kit.

Here's a little peek at one of the card designs. Hope you have a chance to look at them both.

In case you missed my last Scraptastic Club blog post, Nathalie and I used the following Pinterest image to inspire our projects.

This is one gorgeous quilt, isn't it? And here's the card it inspired me to create.

I used the Good Day Sunshine kit and pulled out the same color pallet, triangle shapes and added my sentiment at a slant...all incorporated from the quilt. Oh I'd love to have that quilt for my collection!
