Love

I love love love the latest Reverse Confetti releases! Especially the new Quick Card Panels that makes it easy to jump start any project.

I love silver with red and black so I used that as a background for the Quick Card Panel. To accent the card I used a cluster of Confetti Cuts, two of the newest Pretty Panels...Love and Large Chevrons and some Heart to Heart cuts. I was also in the mood to add a couple stick pins. Remember how popular those used to be at one time? What a fun project this turned out to be!

Love Color Chaos!

Today I have a fun and funky card share for you mixing Bella Blvd's new Color Chaos collection with one of the new Clear Cuts from Star Student and a couple of my favorite Reverse Confetti dies.

This was one of those projects where I had an idea, gave it a go resulting in this card. What do you think? I'm still sitting with it. Love the colors...and had a great time playing. I guess that's all that matters, right?

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

It's cold enough outside to build a snowman, but there's only one problem...there's no snow! None yet this year and while it's still too early to tell, I'm thinking this year may be void of snow. Here it the Raleigh, North Carolina area some years are like that. It reminds me when we first moved here from California we bought a sled right away anticipating our first snowfall that didn't happen for a couple years!

Anyway, it is cold enough to bundle up and share a Scraptastic Club January 2015 Sweater Weather kit card with you!

I noticed that with some of my previous Sweater Weather cards I was gravitating towards the same papers and accents so I thought I'd mix it up a bit this time and use different ones. Funny how it makes this card seem like it's from an entirely different kit! That's one of the things I love about the Scraptastic Club kits...so many patterned papers and accents to choose from and enough in each kit to make more projects than I have time for!!! My niece loves that because I have enough supplies to share with her too!

Anna Griffin on HSN

This weekend I hadn't planned on being away from my blog for three days, but that's how things turned out. I spent time with my boys and just had too much fun to step foot in the office! Today I'm back, refreshed and ready to share and create more projects for you like this card from Anna Griffin's new Juliet collection debuting last week on HSN.

Oh How I love the patterned papers, dimensional embellishments and gold foil accents from this line!

Along with the new Juliet collection, Anna shared an amazing new embossing tool called Mix & Match Embossing Folders and Dies that allow you to create beautifully embossed backgrounds while adding matching sentiments at the same time.

Here's another card I created with the Juliet collection and Anna's new Paisley Patterns Embossing Folders & Dies. These are embossing patterns are so detailed and gorgeous, don't you think?

Anna is currently working on her next set of collections and HSN show. And I'm look forward to showing you just how easy it is to use them and create lots of fun projects!

Love

This morning I was in the mood to create so as soon as I got to my office I gathered my die cutter, a few new Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti and my scrap paper bin and got to work making this polka dotted, paper hearts Valentine. You should see the mess I made! Oh, but I had fun!

I combined the Pretty Panels Love, Puppy Love, Heart to Heart and Documented Confetti Cuts for this card for lots of layers, accenting and adding texture with ribbon, jute and wood embellishments.

Winter

Even though it's the middle of winter, yesterday we had an amazing warm and sunny day here in North Carolina. It was 65+ degrees and I couldn't resist spending some time outside with the sun on my face!

Since it's still very much wintertime, I have a Scraptastic Club January 2015 Sweater Weather kit project to share with you today.

The background of my card was created with two Scraptastic Club patterned papers and a sticker...those beautiful pine trees. The next layer, the shipping tag, one of my kit faves is topped with some Carta Bella Warm & Cozy stickers and accented with a bit of jute and a very cool metal snowflake paperclip from Maya Road.

We'll be returning to normal winter temps soon and maybe we'll even get a little snowfall? Christopher would enjoy that! :)

Invisibles

What do you think of Bella Blvd's new sheer plastic die cuts called Invisibles? I think they're absolutely awesome and I had a chance to play around with one the other day to create a card to share with you.

I love the large flower shaped Invisibles and cut the Amore heart printed one down for a background layer. Then I topped it with lots of  little accents..some are stickers from the Treasures & Text sheet and Trinkets, two others are Chipboard Icons and the two tiny enamel hearts are new DooDads accents. Oh and that pretty pink felt bow, ooh la la, is another new product called Bella Bows! So many fun new goodies to play with! I can't wait to create more for you!

Love Blooms

How many of you are looking forward to spring, to getting out in the yard to plant flowers or a vegetable garden. I've got two hand raised! I love spring and I love Reverse Confetti's new Love Blooms stamps and Confetti Cuts. I used both of them to make today's card share.

Love these flowers! And leaves! Thought they would go nicely with some wood grain patterned paper and a jute bow. After that I decided to smear a little ink around the edges to give it a freshly soiled appearance. I can almost smell the dirt! What do you think? Does it make you want to get out into the garden? Or go make a card? :)
