Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! Today's shaping up to be a sweet one since I've already eaten a dark chocolate covered marshmallow before 11:00 a.m! Because Christopher doesn't trick or treat anymore, I always buy him a couple candies from Whole Foods and I just had to sample the marshmallows I bought him this morning! ;)

Today at Bella Blvd. we have a Sketch Friday card for you to try and I made mine with the Halloween Magic collection to celebrate the day.

I love this patterned paper full of kiddos dressed in costume! Bella Blvd. always has the cutest little spooks! Just look at this mummy boy grinning from ear to ear with his pumpkin full of treats! Too too cute!

Happy Halloween!

What's New Wedensday

It's a What's New Wednesday crafty share day on the Bella Blvd. blog where design team members create projects using the latest and greatest collections. Being that Halloween is just days away, I made my first card with Halloween Magic

This big heart die cut is part of Bella Blvd's Paper Pieces accents. They make putting a card together quick and easy...just a few small embellishments added to one is all you need.

My next card was created with the Hello Autumn collection.

A little burlap and a jute bow a rustic fall feeling to this project.

Thankful for You

It's the last week of October and Thanksgiving will be here real soon! I can almost smell the turkey and taste the pumpkin pie! And speaking of turkey...here's one fine fellow found in Bella Blvd's Hello Autumn collection.

I love this turkey's brightly colored feathers and pilgrim hat! To make him my focal point, I created a reverse die cut frame and leaf sprig accents to surround him with. Makes me look forward to Thanksgiving!

Giraffe

T.G.I.F! It's been a little while since I created something with the ultra adorable Tiny Tots collection from Bella Blvd. so I picked one of my favorite critters in the line to make a card with.

I love this giraffe...he's just the cutest! He made his debut when the Baby Boy collection came out a couple years ago and I used every single image and chip accent of him! I was thrilled to see his return as part of the Tiny Tots line. I have a bit of a thing for giraffes. Have you ever seen the documentary Tall Blondes? Very interesting animals. I have a couple bronze giraffes that sit in our foyer and greet us each time we walk in the door. Here's to the giraffes! :)

No. 31

I just realized this morning that October is almost over and I haven't had a pumpkin latte or pumpkin muffin or anything pumpkin yet! Note to self, must fix that! I have created lots of Halloween cards though...like this one made with Pebbles' Thirty-One collection.

How about these silver foil ghosts and the chalkboard sentiment? Oh and the sequins!?!? Love, love, love this collection!

Now, I better go put pumpkin pie filling on the grocery list so I can bake a batch of cookies or cupcakes! What's your favorite pumpkin treat?

You Shine

Calling all Scraptastic Club fans...I have a Heart it Races kit project to share with you today featuring one sly little fox. Isn't he handsome?

Another kit favorite is this floral background paper. It's colors make it perfect for autumn projects as well as spring and summer. I love versatility!

Boo!

How about another Halloween card share for this 21st day of October? When I received my first Scraptastic Club kit, it included a set of 'Thriller' stamps created by Kaitlin Sheaffer. Eek! This is a Fang-tastic set!

I love the way the pumpkin face has separate eyes and mouth stamps so I could use just the eyes and then add a mini bat for Jack's mouth. Hmmm...that bat kind of looks like he's got a mustache! ;)

Wickedly Wonderful

I had a great weekend? How about you? I didn't do anything special...just got to spend one-on-one time with the hubs and we really enjoyed hanging out together! After a three day Blogger hiatus I'm back to share another wickedly wonderful Halloween card with you using Reverse Confetti's Cast a Spell stamps and Confetti Cuts.

I love using pennants and lots of color. I've been using ribbon a little more lately which is a good thing since I have more than I care to admit! ;) For this 'bow' I used two strips, made a simple knot and then gave all the ends tails. I think it kinda looks spider-like. What do you think?
