Love You a Ton

Did you know that Stephanie Smokovich, owner of Bella Blvd. is having a little boy next month? She is and all of the design team members are anxiously awaiting his arrival! I've been passing the time crocheting a blanket for their little one and created this Tiny Tots card to go with it.

The animals in this line are just cuter than cute! I especially love the little elephant, don't you?

Stephanie and Steven have been putting together a darling nursery using many of the colors and critters from the Tiny Tots line. One of those colors is navy in which I used for his blanket.

I crocheted a diamond patterned design for the blanket which will be perfect for the summer months...and for winter it can be doubled up to make baby extra snug.

I added some pretty ribbon and shipped it early this week!

Congratulations Stephanie and Steven! Hope you enjoy all the special moments with your new little one!

Happy Days

These remaining days of summer have been happy ones indeed! Glorious weather, juicy vine-ripe tomatoes and I've been ever so busy creating lots of crafty projects. Life is good. I hope it is for you too!

This morning I looked at a pile of die cut shapes on my desk, grabbed a couple and went to work to make this card. The Papertrey Ink 'happy' sentiment die and the embossed vellum star were the two pieces I grabbed. Then I added some paper from my stash box and a Technique Tuesday 'days' stamp. I'm lovin' the pretty color combo and as you can see, my fascination with stars continues! :)

Unlimited Inspiration

Woot! It's Bella Blvd's Unlimited Inspiration week where we design team gals get to show off the latest and greatest! I adore the new Halloween Magic Collection and had a ball creating this seriously adorable 'Boo Buddies' card for you.

My favorite thing about this card is that the background paper matches Frank's complexion perfectly! Eek!

Next up I played with the Hello Autumn collection to come up with this colorful card style.

When a collection has so many gorgeous patterned papers I enjoy creating a design that shows them off. To do this I used a washi die to cut strips for the background. Washi strips would be easy enough to make without a special die. Just cut thin strips of paper and give them jagged edges.

Birthday

Anyone celebrating a birthday this month? Next to Christmas, birthday and thank you greetings are the most popular to send. Reverse Confetti has so many stamps and Confetti cuts to make a multitude of birthday card styles as I did here with the Here We Go set.

This chubby little car ranks at the top of my favorite Reverse Confetti images! It's just too sweet, don't you think. And the perfect accent for a tot's birthday card!

Sunshine

Have you noticed the days getting a bit shorter lately? Oh how I love autumn and the holidays, but I will really miss the longer sunny days of summer. Often times when I'm longing for the sun to shine on a rainy winter day, I'll  create a little sunshine of my own. I did that a lot last winter with Pebbles Garden Party line and again this morning with some leftovers I still have.

For this card I pulled out an embellishment I haven't used in quite some time. Can you guess what that is? Seam binding...I used to use it a lot, but then something new will come along or I become enamored with another accent.

Hope your Monday is full of sunshine! :)

Love You

Hello! Today I have a frilly feminine card to share with you that I created with scraps and stashed away accents. I've been doing a lot of that lately...although you can't tell just by looking at my scraps bin!

I've had these lovely papers around for quite some time and couldn't tell you who manufactured them. They're pretty aren't they The background die cut and stamped sentiment are from Papertrey Ink. The enamel dots are called Sprinkles made by Doodlebug. I've had the ribbon, jute and little heart charm for too long as well...nice to use them up.

Liberty

Before summer slips away, I wanted to pull out Pebbles' Americana collection for another patriotic play session. Stars, stars, stars...I've been drawn to stars lately! Scroll down through my posts for the past couple weeks and you'll be seeing lots of stars!

What do you think of those silver glittered stars? They've been in my stash for quite some time and I'm not sure why since they're so beautiful and sparkly! I guess I still try and save my favorite trinkets for something extra special. Crazy, I know! I have a few left that I think will work perfectly for Christmas projects, don't you? I purchased them on Etsy but couldn't find any this morning to give you a link. They would be easy enough to make, however. A little messy, but worth it!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Come Away with Me

Hello! I've been playing this morning with some Reverse Confetti stamps, dies and paper scraps. What a wonderful way to start the day! Seems as autumn is approaching, I'm gravitating towards more earthy tones.

For this card I used a mix of four Confetti Cuts sets with the Here We Go stamps. The longer I'm on the Reverse Confetti design team, the more product I have to mix and match and I'm finding that everything works so well together!

Beep, beep...off I go to work on a few more projects. It's a busy and fun time of year with all the new holiday lines coming out. Speaking of which...you won't believe the next RC release! ;)
