When I think of fall, going back to school comes to mind.

Authentique has an amazing school line called Curiosity.

It's full of vintage images and lots of detailed stickers for layering and creating dimension.

I combined this line with some Love My Tapes fabric tape to look like a piece of ribbon at the top of the card.

The focal point tag was cut from a 12" by 12" piece of patterned paper. There's so many adorable tags included on that sheet.

Be sure you stop by all the blogs listed above and then return to the Love My Tapes blog and leave a comment for your chance to win some fabulous Love My Tapes product. Also, stop by the Authentic Paper blog to find out what their talented designers have in store for you today.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the hop.

Merry and Bright and a Recipe

Hello!

How was your weekend? Yesterday afternoon our house/kitchen was a slice of autumn goodness with some fresh pressed apple juice simmering on the stove in mulling spices and I baked a batch of pumpkin cookies with caramel frosting. It never ceases to amaze me how happy and content I feel about the littlest things! When I was done in the kitchen I was sitting on the couch in the family room reading and every once in a while I'd get a big whiff of the apple cider and I would close my eyes, breath deep and smile. Ahhhh......

Today I'm going to jump ahead just a bit a share a Christmas card with you that I made a while back.

I used one of my all time favorite collections, Holiday Style by October Afternoon.

I couldn't get enough of the little flags so I made some of my own with the sentiment stickers included in the line.

I can't believe Halloween is this week, can you? Do you have any spooky fun plans lined up? I plan to eat some more of those pumpkin cookies I baked yesterday, if they last that long! ;) I got the recipe from Pinterest.

Pumpkin Cookies with Caramel Frosting

The recipe is from Let's Dish. They're really easy to make.

Thanks for your visit! I hope you have a good Monday!

Tiny Little Cute and Giveaway Winner

Hello, hello, hello!

I'm popping in a bit late today. Actually, I've been a little late with my posts all week because Christopher is off track and I've been taking him to camp in the morning. Today he gets to go rock climbing. His dad and I think this kind of activity is better than him staying home day after day playing on the computer! :) Anyway, while I'm out I always try to get an errand or two in and this morning I went grocery shopping. It was so pretty out with the leaves at their peak color!

Okay enough chit chat, how about a crafty share?

This is a card I created a while ago with Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection.

I adore the lion! Cute kitty!

Thought a pinwheel would be a fun accent.

I had to get a bunch of these Button Market stars. I love the color and size....perfect for so many projects!

Before I close I'd like to announce the winner for yesterday's Halloween decor giveaway. Congratulations Christine Ousley from It's My Life blog! Hope you enjoy your frame!

Thanks for swinging by! Enjoy your Friday! :)

Halloween Decor Giveaway

Hello!

I'm popping in this morning with a quick Halloween share for you. I created this decor piece with one of those unfinished wood frames you can get at your local craft store. It's a small 5" by 5" square frame.

I used Doodlebug Designs 'Haunted Manor' collection to decorate it.

These two dudes are called Mini Doodle Pops Punkin Pals. Aren't they a hoot?

This spider is another Mini Doodle Pop....called Spidies. Love the names!

To bling things up, I added some of the new Jewels in the Halloween Assortment color pack.

Do you like? Would you like to display this little decor piece in your home? Just leave a comment and I'll pick a winner at random to announce on tomorrow's post.

Thanks for popping in today. Can you believe Halloween is less than a week away?

No Tricks, Just Treats

Hello!

I have a treat for you today! A quick and easy project using the spooky new Tricks and Treats line from Pebbles.

One of the patterned papers in this collection, Rotten Rd., has these fabulous cut out cards.

I love them! They make it super easy to create a bunch of fun Halloween cards for your friends and family in no time.

All I did was attach them to card stock, stitch a zigzag border and added photo corners. You could easily outline a border with a pen.

The single embellishment on each card was created with another sheet of patterned paper called Witchy Ln. It's full of Halloween icons that I punched out with a circle punch and added with a pop dot.

So there you go....a quick project with spook-tacular results! Now what will you do with all the time you save? ;)

Thanks for stopping by! I hope it's a gorgeous fall day where you live. I had to run a few errands first thing this morning and the sun is shining bright, the leaves are colorful and it's supposed to be about 70 degrees. It doesn't get better than that!

Baby Girl

Hello!

We survived another Monday! :) When I have an exceptionally good weekend, Monday's can be a challenge. Seems I have a difficult time switching gears and getting back into the routine of the week. Can you relate? ;)  Well, you didn't stop by to hear me complain, did you? I suspect you're here for a little dose of creativity? How about a crafty share?

I created this baby card with the adorable Sugar and Spice collection from Doodlebug Design.

There are so many cute critters in this line and I adore critters!

Giraffes, birds and wide eyed frogs, oh my!

And polka dots too!

And stripes. Do you like?

I hope you have a little time to get your craft on today. Thanks for dropping by! Enjoy your day!

Scrap Redez-Vous

Hello!

I hope you had a lovely and restful weekend. Dan and I enjoyed a couple child-free days together while Christopher was at camp. We went out to dinner both Friday and Saturday nights, watched movies curled up on the couch together, went for a walk and the mall for a bit to pick up some necessities. It was low key and wonderful!

Are you ready for the week ahead? Today I have a card and sketch for you over at Scrap Redez-Vous.

I hope you can hop over and take a little peek. Scrap Redez-Vous is run by three talented ladies who are friends and enjoy sharing their work with others. I design with one of the gals, Alexandra Sirugue-Macleod, at write. click. scrapbook. and I adore the sketches she creates for her cards. I hope you do too.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Kiss Me More

Hello!

Welcome to the third and final day of the Kiss Me collection reveal. Are you in love with this brand new Bella Blvd. line? Are you ready for more? Today I have another scrapbook page and a couple cards to share with you.

This week the hubs and I had our annual day date at the state fair.

This collection is perfect for documenting our special day.

Here I created a mini sign post with some of the Alpha and Bits stickers.

I tucked a Just Write journaling sticker into the side of my page.

For this card I made a paper heart pillow by stitching two die cut hearts together and adding a little cotton in between.

It's a little hard to tell from the photo that it's puffy.

For this card I thought I'd try stitching with two different thread colors.

What do you think? Do you like the look?

There's a lot more Kiss Me projects over at the Bella Blvd. blog. Hop on over and enjoy all the pretties! :)

Before I scoot, it's time to give you a little peek at my page for the upcoming write. click. scrapbook. November gallery that will post on the first.

Can you guess what our theme is? Need more clues? Visit the write. click. scrapbook. page on Facebook.

Well, I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Christopher is away at camp this weekend so hubs and I are on our own to play some more and go to dinner at our favorite restaurant. Life is good! So what will you be doing?

Wrapped in Love

T.G.I.F!

What do you think of Bella Blvd's new Kiss Me collection so far? Are you ready for more? Today I have another card and a page to share with you.

I could have made dozens of cards with this line, there's just so many great elements.

This sentiment is a combination of stickers and Ciao Chip alphabets. I love the dimension that you can create by layering stickers.

I threw in this navy blue patterned paper strip as an afterthought. What do you think? Do you like the addition?

I adore this photo of Christopher! A couple weeks ago I finished crocheting this blanket for him.

When I started, it was going to be a throw for the family room, but Christopher asked if he could have it.

I couldn't think of a better idea! :)

That face warms this mama's heart!

For lots more lovely Kiss Me projects, head over to the Bella Blvd. blog.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
