Here Comes the Rooster!

This week the rooster arrived at my door, the Midnight Rooster, a brand new kit club package! Oh boy I couldn't wait to open the box and play with all the lovely goodies! Just look at these fun papers and unique embellishments included in this kit!

Unbelievable, isn't it?!?! So much goodness in one kit! Look at those doilies and that fabric banner! Papers from all my favorite manufacturers too! Even my own Midnight Rooster rubber stamp! Now that's something to crow about!

So, I had to wait a couple of days, until I had a bit of time to play and I created this page of my son on his ninth birthday last month.

Christopher was beside himself when he got the model train he had been wanting for years! I love the way the page turned out! Lots of color and fun going on and that banner ROCKS!

Well, happy Friday all! Thanks for dropping in today. I hope your holiday weekend is packed with a lot of fun and that you make a whole lot of memories.

Tomorrow I'm going to show off more Digital Doodles projects found around blog land and Two Peas in a Bucket. :) Kathy

Digital Doodles Spotlight - Danni Reid

As you have seen throughout the last couple months, the Digital Doodles Design Team is incredible! These ladies create the most amazing projects week after week showcasing those fun little Digital Doodles of mine. This past week Design Team member Danni Reid created an entire set of cards with the new Delovely line by Cosmo cricket and paired it with the Digital Doodles Stamps. I think it's a match made in heaven so I wanted to share them with you.

It's a Busy Monday Morning!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Wow, it's already 11:00 this morning! Clock, please slow down! I've got a lot to do and the time just keeps ticking away! Well, perhaps I should just get to it! I have some crafty shares for you! :)

This first card is a hybrid card. The adorable vintage image is from a digital kit called 'I Wish' from Chelsea Parsons of Two Peas in a Bucket. The background paper is also from the kit.

I colored the vintage image in with Copic markers. I also inked and distressed most of the papers. Lots of goodies went into this card so if you want a supply list, it's at the bottom of this post.

This next share is another hybrid card. This one uses a die cut kit called 'Summer Fun' created by Laina Lamb of Two Peas in a Bucket.

This kit contains a lot of fun die cuts for summer pages and cards that I'm sure I'll use time and time again. Clouds are so popular these days that it's great to have those!

Well, I'm going to keep this short and sweet so I can get to the other tasks of the day which includes making my blog rounds so I can see what you all have been making lately. Hope your Monday is a good one! :)
