After getting some of my own scrapbooking done, I'm back to some fall fun! My pal in crafting crime and I went on a shopping spree to our local craft stores and found some fun supplies. Here's a few little things I've made so far. Check back soon, cause I've got more spooky fun craftin' ideas to share with you. And Christmas too!

On A Roll
I've been making so many cards and holiday projects lately that I haven't created any scrapbook pages in weeks! Oh no! I have so many fun summer photos too, so I decided to put down the holiday papers and accents to do a page. And guess what, I ended up doing two! Two very summery pages...ah, I'm going to miss summer!

Getting Ready for the Holidays
When you craft or work in retail, you have to get ready for the holidays long before the summer temperatures start to cool down. It's been a lot of fun around here making Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas cards and decor. I'd like to show off a couple Christmas items I made this week that were a lot of fun. Perhaps they will inspire you to get started on some holiday crafts?

Snowflake Remake
Last year I made this fun and glittery snowflake (bottom photo) with an unfinished wood snowflake die cut from the craft store. It wasn't too difficult. I picked out this pretty blue and and white snowflake patterned paper that I papered the snowflake with and then added glitter to give it a lot of sparkle. The finishing touch was the white satin ribbon. Done!
Well, yesterday a great gal pal of mine, Audrey, came over to do some crafting and we were flipping through a magazine for inspiration, before we began out projects, when we came upon the same die cut snowflake decorated in a completely different style. It reminded me of this blue one I made last year so I pulled it out to show her. Right away she had some fabulous ideas that turned my pretty snowflake into an amazing creation! Just by layering a couple felt snowflakes and adding them to the center with some adhesive pearls, it transformed my snowflake into a stunning new creation. (top photo) Thanks, Audrey!

And there's nothing like getting together with a crafty pal or two to make some fun and ghoulish decor and cards! Look at all these fun things I made at my friend Audrey's house! Starting on Monday, August 10th I will be opening my Autumn Shoppe section of my Etsy store where I will sell some of these crafty creations and lots of supplies to make some of your own spooky spells! Annual Beach Trip
School is just around the corner and for our family that means our annual trip to Carolina Beach is just days away! I can't wait to spend time with my guys, morning walks on the shore with sand between our toes, collecting sea shells. Oh and the food...sea food! We'll take lots of pictures so I can create scrapbook pages to help preserve our memories. For great scrapbooking papers and accents for your beach crafts, stop my etsy store at http://www.cardblanc.etsy.com/ and pick some up.
